This is a chunky boot with a crinkle in the "fabric" across the top of the foot.

She was fun and silly although her shoes made her stand out in a crowd. The boots revealed the persona behind the smile – the superhero that she really was, the brave courageous warrior within, the woman who could not be stopped!

On this ordinary day filled with familiar, usual and unexceptional tasks, she looks down at the ruby button on her shoe and wishes she felt more at home in her own skin. She longs for courage to step forward and create change. She wishes she had the frame of mind, to approach life in a bigger and bolder way. Oh for such a heart! If she could embrace these things she could indeed feel more at home. She’s pleased as she gazes at her feet, reminded of the hope at the end of the yellow brick road.
